From Design to Your Bag: the Journey of Our Planners

More than 7 months of intense work to create your year-round ally

If you've ever wondered how a planner gets into your hands, today I invite you to follow me behind the scenes. Believe me, it's not just a pretty design on a page: each edition requires time, thought, and a lot of love for you to receive a quality product.

1. Your feedback throughout the year

The valuable feedback I receive from my clients and subscribers isn't just heartwarming: it also helps me know what to include in the next edition. Surveys on my social media or sent by email allow me to refine the planner and make improvements inspired by your reality. The goal is simple: keep what you already love and improve the small details that make my planners more suited to your professional reality.

I actually start thinking about the next edition as early as summer, noting down all the ideas and adjustments to incorporate.

2. Design finalization

Once all the ideas are gathered and the structure is defined, I finalize the design of the next edition. Before going any further, I print a copy directly in my workshop. This is often where I notice the small details that aren't visible on screen: slightly misaligned pages, sections to adjust… This step is crucial for everything to be perfect.

During this time, I also start preparing the shop: planner descriptions, photos, social media posts, launch emails. And yes, all of this is done while teaching full-time! Added to that are contacts with suppliers for boxes, protective covers, accessories… many invisible but important small tasks.

3. Pre-sale launch

Then finally comes one of my favourite moments: the pre-sale launch (I admit that, often, the date has to be adjusted, because everything isn't always ready on time.)

The pre-sale has a two objectives: it allows me to plan responsible production, adapted to actual demand, and gives you the chance to reserve your favourite planner.

4. Production preparation

Once the pre-sale is over, I confirm the final details with my printer. Before the final printing, I receive digital proofs for approval and visit my printer to check the quality of the paper and colours to ensure everything is compliant. This verification can last a week or more, as good work takes time.

Then, production truly begins. Once the planners are printed, they are carefully assembled according to your choices, ready to make their way to you.

5. Arrival at your home

Watching your orders accumulate in my workshop and then make their way to you is a magical moment. Carefully and thoughtfully packaging them is always a real pleasure.

Creating a quality planner isn't just about being pretty: it's the result of a lot of work and small touches at every stage. For over 7 months, I refine, adjust, and validate every detail so that your experience meets your needs.

From the first feedback received until it reaches your hands, nothing is left to chance. And it's precisely all this care taken at each stage that transforms my planners into your true allies.
